Artist Bios

Jimmy Fay ‘26 MFA is a playwright, poet, director and performer based in Brooklyn, NY and Providence, RI. Their plays have been performed at Brown University, Hunter College, the Davenport Theater, Chain Theater, the Producer’s Club and others. Their films have played multiple international film festivals, including the Los Angeles International Film Festival and the Portland Film Festival. They are also the author of the chapbook THE GOD SIZD HOLE, published by SLAB press. They have held residences with Arts on Site and Beam Center on Governors Island, and they were a Mellon Public Humanities fellow in 2021-2022. They are also a member of Close Friends Collective, a queer public history collective based in New York City. 

Kedian Keohan (they/he) is a theater director and creator of live performances. Director: Amando Houser’s DeliaDelia! The Flat Chested Witch (Brick Theater), Utkarsh Rajawat’s SLIMRZ (Brooklyn College), Nurit Chinn’s godbird (Brooklyn College), reid tang’s ISABEL (NAATCO), Erin Markey’s First Lady (Bard Spiegeltent), Minna Lee’s Last Gold (Hunter College), reid tang’s WORK HARD HAVE FUN MAKE HISTORY (Breaking the Binary), BLUSH with K Hurley (Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab). Kedian is currently a New Georges Audrey Resident with Minna Lee developing a new play about the rivalry between love and success, sports capitalism, and figure skating set in the Winter Olympic Games. Associate Director: Shayok Misha Chowdhury’s Rheology (Bushwick Starr), Morgan Bassichis’ Can I Be Frank? (Wilma Theater & Redcat), Ryan J. Haddad’s Dark Disabled Stories (The Public Theater/Bushwick Starr). Assistant Director: Orlando (Signature), Pathetic (Abrons Art Center), Singlet (Bushwick Starr), and Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future (Ars Nova). Kedian performed the role of Major in NY Times’ Critic Pick Marie It’s Time (HERE Arts Center) written by Julia Jarcho.
