The 2024 Festival of Dance features student performers in new dances developed within TAPS courses and a capstone project by Sky McAllister '24. This year’s performance includes works by guest artists Colin Stilwell and Laila Franklin. Shura Baryshnikov will present choreography guided by Jo-ha-kyū, a concept of modulation and movement applied in a wide variety of traditional Japanese arts. Patricia Seto-Weiss joins forces with intermedia artist John Crawford for a ballet piece inspired by New England shorelines. Performances by J Dellecave’s Intermediate Dance and Deidra Braz’s Advanced FlexN round out the program.
