OPEN CAPTIONING (Leeds Theatre)

Open captioning is a service that provides real-time text display of spoken dialogue during a live performance. Unlike closed captions, which can be turned on or off by the viewer, open captions are visible to all audience members throughout the entire performance. 

Captions will be provided by an experienced captioner and displayed on two 65-inch monitors, strategically positioned on either side of the stage. For optimal visibility, individuals who would like to view the captions can choose seating in the two side sections. Additionally, all attendees have the option to access captions directly on their phones by scanning a QR code.
