A MULTIMEDIA DANCE PROJECT
TAPS Dance Senior Slot 2027
Choreographer & Director: Moana Marx '27
DANCER AUDITION OPEN CALL
Dancing gives us an opportunity to play with space, to follow its suggestions, challenge its limitations, and discover new ways of moving through the world.
How does the environment shape how we move? From a subway to an open field, a home to the stage, spaces invite us to move through them. Do you accept the invitation?
THE PROJECT
This is a multimedia dance project exploring the relationship between movement and the environments we inhabit. Through dance film and live performance, the project investigates how spaces invite, restrict, and transform movement.
We will move between film and live performance, investigating space through both the camera and the stage. This piece will incorporate partner work, choreographic exploration, and improvisation.
